Learn more about us! Hettie grew up on a farm in Bothaville, an environment teeming with all kinds of animals. The animals she grew up with were special, and she soon realised that they were not just mere creatures but held unique personalities and emotions. Soon, Hettie’s passion for animals was all-consuming. Hettie’s family was involved in gymkhana, or tent pegging, as it is known today, a sport where she obtained her junior and senior colours.
It would come at no surprise that after having a silk-screening business for eight years she felt the strong pull towards her true calling – practising animal healing and communication professionally.
Hettie’s daughter Skye, who was born eighteen years ago, played a vital role in paving the way to her life’s purpose. With her daughter beside her, Hettie felt their mission is to make a difference in the lives of animals through healing and communication.
Hettie worked at the racetracks in Bloemfontein and Kimberley as a specimen collector. During this time, her beloved horse taught her many valuable lessons, including the art of animal healing and communication. Hettie believes that everyone has different gifts that they can nurture and that we all have everything we need within ourselves to access these gifts.
For Hettie, looking into the eyes of an animal was more than just seeing a beautiful creature. She felt their soul and connected with them on a deep level. She understood something that not everyone did – that animals are not just pets but vital beings that deserve love and healing.
Take a moment today, put your hand on your beloved pet’s heart, and thank them for being a part of your journey. Together you can walk each other home.
